Baja Knot

1. Form a loop about one or two from the end of the line. This is the largest of three loops which make up the knot. Slide a hook to the base of the loop and let it hang freely while tying the rest of the knot.

2. Run the free end of the line across the front of the first loop and behind the running line to make the second loop. Pinch between thumb and fore finger and pull tag end until this loop is considerably smaller than the first.

3. Repeat last step to make the loop but make it medium size. Now slide the hook to the top of the first loop. Pass hook over middle loop and under top loop. Draw knot up semi tight.

4. Secure hook with pliers or to boat rail and pull standing line hard to tighten down in heavy mono. This knot will not slip.
