The Straight Shell

The Straight Shell is a simple yet smart-looking fold. It is quick and easy to fold and perfect for any social occasion.

First reduce the size of your pocket square by folding in half and then in half again the other way. It should now be a 9" square. Make the first pleat by lifting some fabric up near the bottom and move it up over the material above a little way. That is your first pleat.
Repeat the process picking up a little more fabric above the first pleat and moving it and the first pleat a little further up.
Adjust the pleats to be equal distance apart, then fold the whole right half behind the left and place in pocket with the pleats up.
