Welcome To NetKnots.Com | The Most Trusted Knots On The Net.

It seems more and more fishermen are using the braided 'super lines' now. And the manufacturers continue to improve the lines and bring new products to the market. Berkley's NanoFil, Spiderwire Ultracast and Stealth Braids, Power Pro 300 are just a few of the offerings available. One thing all of these lines have in common is

that they are slippery and most fishing knots that are used with monofilament will slip when tied with braided line. To the line-up of Netknots approved knots for use with braids (Palomar, San Diego Jam Knot, Fish N Fool, NanoFil Knot) we add the Berkley Braid Knot. Its tying steps remind us of the San Diego Jam Knot but it is tied with doubled line. Berkley attests and we agree, this knot holds!
