There are at least a dozen good ways to coil a rope but rope coil knots seem to be a knot that many folks struggle with. We have selected three good alternatives:
The Fireman's Coil is a good quick release coil knot, The Alpine Coil is a good one for carrying a coiled rope and the Sailor's Coil is a good one for storing rope such as on a boat.
