Pratt Knot

The Pratt Knot has an interesting history. The inventor of the knot, Jerry Pratt tied his necktie with this distinctive knot for over thirty year. At some point a news anchorman by the name of Don Shelby "discovered" and publicized it on local television. The knot was further publicized in articles in the New York Times and other papers with the new name "Shelby Knot" and the knot gained in popularity. We prefer to pay homage to the true originator of the knot and list it here as The Pratt Knot. It is of a medium size, versatile and elegant. Use the Pratt Knot to set yourself apart from all the Windsor and Four in Hand's out there!
