The Loop and Through scarf knot is good basic knot to know. It is most useful with long scarves and can add warmth to your neck with a thick scarf on a cold day, without looking too bulky. It is quite simple to tie. Just double a long scarf in half, put behind your neck and bring the ends through the loop that was formed by doubling the scarf.
