Our latest App for iPhones and iPod Touch is not about knots. After publishing numerous knot apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch and iPad, Android, Nokia Symbian phones and Windows Phones, we changed gears and put out a really fun little app for FREE: "My Big Fish".

The short answer is the Palomar Knot, but I suggest you keep reading. We have over a dozen knots on this site just for tying on terminal tackle. The Knot Cards we sell have from 3 to 6 terminal tackle knots. So, why all these knots if you only need a Palomar?

Everybody loves the Monkey's Fist knot. It is often requested and all I can say is sorry it took so long to put it up in our rope knots section. Although the knot has a long history from the days of sail. It was first described in print in 1888.
